DataWorc helps you connect information, tools, and services in one place. This Privacy Policy explains how connected data is accessed, used, stored, shared, and controlled.

Connected data

DataWorc works with information and services that you choose to connect or use.

Connected data may include files, account information, service metadata, system information, and other information made available through an authorised connection.

DataWorc uses connected data only to provide the features and results you request.

How connected data is used

Connected data may be used to help you search, understand, organise, create, build, and work with information through DataWorc.

Connected data is not used for advertising or profiling.

Access and permissions

DataWorc accesses connected data through permissions you authorise. You can disconnect a service or revoke access whenever you choose.

Storage

Connected data may be stored when needed to provide application features, preserve context, or retain information you choose to keep.

DataWorc does not sell connected data.

Sharing

Connected data is not shared with third parties unless access is necessary for a feature or service you have chosen to use.

Google services

When you connect a Google account, DataWorc requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly scope.

Using that permission, DataWorc reads the number of unread messages, message metadata including sender, subject line and date, and the connected account's email address.

Message bodies and attachments are not retrieved.

This information is stored only on your own computer. It is not transmitted to the developer or to any third party, and it is not used to develop, improve, or train any machine-learning model.

DataWorc's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

Google account access can be revoked at any time through Google Account permissions .

Credentials

Credentials used to connect supported services are handled separately from normal application data and are used only to maintain authorised connections.

Retention and deletion

You control the information you keep in DataWorc.

Stored information can be removed by deleting the relevant application data or disconnecting the associated service.

Your choices

You decide what information to connect, which services to use, when to disconnect them, and what information to remove.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised date.
